Disney on Ice ... The Worlds of Fantasy

Today was Disney on Ice - the kids enjoyed it - we think. They didn't actually show excitement or talk about the show on the way home. We know they enjoyed the toys and treats before the show and were super excited on the way.
The costumes and stage sets were as fabulous as ever, but the show itself ... mmmmmhhhhhhh ... totally disappointing compared to other years and we have been going for four years now.
In my opinion, the only truly exciting part was when Lightening Mcqueen and his friends were on ice, and that was a very, very small part of the show - didn't time it, but maybe ten minutes. The applause says it all.
Next year ... not sure if we will spend the money, but I'm sure the kids will make the final decision.
Overall, another great day spent with family and cousins arriving tonight for two days!

It is disappointing when shows don't deliver to the standard you expect. I hope the children did enjoy it after all.
The kids got a treat with you. That's the important part. The quality of the show counts a lot less than their enjoyment of the experience. And I know for a fact that time spent with you is good time!
